After a great day of NAMC birding with Bill Boeringer on Loop Road, I chilled for a couple of hours before birding my local haunts for the Count.The neon-orange Spot-breasted Orioles - in full song - were the highlight of my jaunt. The species seen were as follows:

Life is good.....................Birding with a good friend, stopping to see old friend and raconteur, Lucky Cole, at his colorful compound on Loop Road - Floridana at it's best- eating a delicious bowl of his hot and spicy venison chile and enjoying a couple of cool ones with he and his wife and finally, ending the day by hoisting a Grolsch Premium Lager in celebration of life and another glorious day above ground.
