I think you guys got your definitions mixed up. To be "Bithorned" means only to be, shall we say, confortable, after a day of birdwatching. The word is derived from the verb, to Bithorn. Here's the Webster's New Revised definition:

Bithorn (Bi-thorn) v. Bithorning, Bithorned vi.

1. To spend a full day birding and upon sighting an exceptional bird, consume at least one full-sized beer 2. To spend a full day birding and upon completion of day, if no exceptional bird was viewed, find the last bird of the day, point to it, and proclaim it "Beer Bird", then consume at least one full-sized beer.
