Carlos, Trey, and myself headed out on a scouting run today to see what early May might bring in the form of pelagics. This were pretty slow all the way out to 20 miles, but the best bird came towards the end of the trip when we found a very cooperative, breeding-plumaged Arctic Tern in ~600 feet of water. Trey will post the photos later.

The list:

Brown Booby (22)
Northern Gannet (7)
Audubon's Shearwater (3)
Parasitic Jaeger
Arctic Tern
Sooty Tern (12)
Bridled Tern (5)
Parasitic Jaeger
