An improptu stop at Indian Hammocks at noon produced 8 species of warblers, and large numbers of them, in the main hammock. I did see the Black-headed Grosbeak (great bird) yesterday but didn't search for it today. Had the following:
Cedar Waxwings
Purple Martins
Anhinga (soaring over hammock)
Black Vultures
Northern Parulas (many males and females)
Black-throated Blue W (many males and females)
Cape May Warbler (many, 2 males, rest females)
Blackpolls (many males and females)
Black-and-white (2)
Prairie Warbler (1)
Ovenbird (2)
Redstart (the most common one, both genders)
