I arrived a little later than Angel, Toe and John. They were just leaving, but John showed me where the bird had been seen. Within a couple of minute I got a look at the Black-headed Grosbeak, but it was a fairly obscured by twigs and leaves so I didn't try to take a photo. If I would have known that was the last look I was going to get I would have taken a couple of shots.... Oh well...

I stayed another hour and a half looking for the bird with no luck. The canopy is pretty thick so the bird could have been on top of the trees where I couldn't see...

Wish I could have stayed longer or could go back this evening, but that's not going to happen. Carlos tried for the bird for about 15 minute, but had his mother with him and couldn't stay. I'm sure he will be back to try later.
