If you take the trail next to post 7B a little farther east the walk is more direct to the spot. If you end up at the very north end of the hammock without finding the spot, walk out to the grass north of the hammock and look for 2 snags sticking out from the canopy. Take the trail immediately below the snags and walk about 20-30 yard till you find a downed tree and a white trail post with a green arrow. This is the marker Brian left. The Grosbeak is feeding in the trees above this area, but it moves very casually.
