The number of usual waders/moorhens/etc have decreased lately. Maybe it's due to the maintenance being done on the boardwalk and some vegetation removal.

While doing some tree frog research on the Chickee Island I did find a nice flock of warblers including: American Redstart, Blackpoll, Yellow Warbler, and 2 great looking Cape May Warblers.

Migration has been slow around these parts so it was nice to see something in the way of migrants. By the way, we still have about 30 Black-necked Stilts with nests on the way and the large flock of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks were flying around the wetlands as well.
