The highlights from this morning's jaunt to these parks were:
MATHESON: Pileated and Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Yellow-Chevron Parakeets and Chestnut-fronted Macaw, Hill Mynah, Eastern-Screech Owl, White-eyed Vireo, Prairie Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, American Redstart, Cedar Waxwings (250), Catbird, and Peafowl
A.D.BARNES: More Cedar Waxwings, Indigo Bunting, White-crowned Pigeon, Cooper's Hawk, Black-whiskered Vireo, Northern Parula, Cape May, Black and White, American Redstart, Black-throated Blue, Prairie, Blackpoll, and Wormeating Warbler.
On the way home in my neighborhood I also spotted a Palm and Common Yellowthroat making an 11 warbler day.
The best this morning was watching the female Prothonotary Warbler pluck insects from a spider's web and then lastly, pluck the spider from its lair and gobble it down.
