Pretty slow yesterday evening at A.D. Barnes. Rock Jelly and I were there from about 5:30 until sunset. Aside from an awful lot of starling activity, there wasn't too much other activity throughout the park. It would seem that after the incredible fallout of last week, combined with recent visits by Mr. Paul Bithorn (of grassquit fame - who seems to cause all birds in any given area to disappear), the park has gone quite silent. This had led to the coining of a new phrase, "Bithorned". For example: "Yesterday at Barnes it was very quiet, especially after last week. It seems as if this park has been bithorned." I think it has a chance of being accepted by Miriam-Webster.........

All joking aside, the following suspects were observed loitering on the park grounds:

Osprey
Peregrine Falcon
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
White-eyed Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Gray Catbird
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Painted Bunting
