It was a good morning for ducks at Daggerwing! I was out from 7-8:30am and back in the swamp, there was a pair of Wood Ducks that were hanging around, and 3 Black-bellied Whistlers flew by! I've not seen the Whistlers out here before, and I couldn't track down where they landed, but I was thrilled to see them! Other than that, the Pileateds, Downys and Red-bellies were out in force; a flock of Cedar Waxwings was hanging around; tons of cardinals were out and calling; but the only warbler I saw was a common Yellow-throat, and he was right behind the building in the "backyard habitat" area as I was coming back in.

Does anyone live in the Boca area that would be willing to help me with the count here at Daggerwing on May 8? I could use the help! Thanks! 561-629-8760
