Greetings,
I was one of at times up to 40 birders present at the fig tree in Bill Baggs park from 8-11 AM. The Spindalis was a no show, although an initially misidentified female Black-throated Blue Warbler carrying a large ripe fig provided some excitement. Fruit on the tree is getting sparse, but there are still ripe figs present. There were perhaps half a dozen Cape May Warblers around as well as Prairie, Palm and Black and White. Painted Buntings and Blue-headed Vireo too. Others looked for the LaSagra's but I heard no positive reports. At the Cranston Marina were 3 frigatebirds and 6 Common Mynas.
