Hiatus Rd. in Tamarac (Broward County) b/w McNab Rd. and Commercial Blvd. remains consistent. Park in the Fire Station lot about 1/2 mile S of McNab (E side of Hiatus), and check the small wetland just north. I just stopped by there, and had 4 swamp hens (and a BC night heron) in less than a minute. They were all moving away from me, so I suspect a more careful approach than mine would find them very close. In case this should not work out, just walk across the street and N past the pond; wetlands there are also very consistent.
