There was an article in the Sep/Oct 2007 issue of BIRDING that was about all sorts of aberrant plumages and coloration.
Included in the paper was a photo of an orangey-faced Prairie Warbler taken by Larry M at Dry Tortugas National Park. The author of the paper, Jeff Davis of Fresno, California, called it a carotenistic bird.
