I'm visiting from the UK for a few days and spent a couple of hours yesterday morning at Bill Baggs State Park, which is one of my favourite migrant hot-spots.
Whilst birding the nature trail which runs south from the road to No Name Harbor, a came across female Western Spindais. The bird was feeding on berries in a large tree on the east side of the trail which has a palm tree growing beneath it. The tree in question is about two-thirds of the way from the road to the white gate. The bird was found at 8.30am yesterday and was still prsent an hour later. The supporting cast (in the same tree!) included Black-throated Blue Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler and Worm-Eating Warbler.

Regards,
Simon Buckingham
