other birds and mammal seen on the west coast:
Ft Desoto:ruddy duck (lake just outside of the park), black-hooded parakeet,rt hummingbird, yellow-bellied sapsucker, eastern kingbird, brown crested flycatcher, cedar waxwing,worm-eating warbler, kentucky warbler, brown-headed cowbird, orchard oriole. the park was full of birds and birders.
Babcock Webb: eastern meadowlark, brown thrasher, bobcat
Oscar Scherer: wood ducks (m+f),tufted titmouse, pileated woodpecker,
