Lee Adams and I decided to wait and see if the birds came back.
We stayed until 600pm and watched as a small flock of Willets and Marbled Godwits tried to return several times.
Each time they approached they were spooked away by Turkey Vultures etc.
Finally at 600pm, a small group landed in front of us but we did not find the Bar-tailed amongst them.
I also got some interesting shots of the Peregrine being attacked by the crows as it was trying to dispatch its Willet dinner.
