Eight of us joined Roberto Torres as he led the Early Bird Walk along Sadowski nature trails at Native Plant Day (Dade Chapter FL Native Plant Society event). In less than one hour we spotted: Blue jay, Fish crow, Palm, Cape May, and Prairie warblers, White-eyed and Blue-headed vireos, Mourning doves, Northern cardinals, Northern parula warbler, Peregrine falcon, Yellow chevron parrots, Red-winged blackbirds, and a mating pair of Great horned owls. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
