There was one in my yard today, a winter female. Also 10 other warbler species including Cape-May. Also some good flycatching displays by American Redstarts and Black-throated Blue Warblers, which even landed on the ground occasionally. I know this does not sound likely, but Ellie had a probable Yellow-bellied lycatcher this morning in Morningside. I am going to check her 13 photos she took of the bird flycatching from a bunch of bushes near Morningside's swamp.
If it is that species I hope I see it. I hope
it does not migrate yet.
