Though not the super, mega, off-the-charts rarity as the Bar-tailed Godwit, Trey and I found a singing Thick-billed Vireo on Bear Lake Rd. while birding our way down to Flamingo. It was exactly .6 miles after turning on Bear Lake Rd. on the left side hammock. Trey put a yellow sticky paper at eye level in front of where we found it, but with the rain I don't know how long it will stay there. Bear Lake road is just after the bridge when approaching Flamingo.
