A Thick-billed Vireo has a yellow lore (the area between the bill and eye), not a yellow supercilium (eyebrow). Immature White-eyed Vireos have a dark eye and are sometimes mistaken for a Thick-billed Vireo. A better field mark for Thick-billed Vireo is the eye-ring, which is broken above the eye.
