A male Golden-winged Warbler was seen midday in the area immediately to the left (north) of the Stop sign upon entering the park. It was seen later in the boardwalk area. The male Hooded was still present in the front hammock. Also seen were Veery, Swainson's Thrush, Gray Catbird, Eastern Wood-Pewee, Scarlet Tanager, White-eyed and Red-eyed Vireos. Birds today were not nearly as abundant as the prior couple of days, which bodes well for our feathered friends!
