Sorry for the multiple posts, but this stupid system does not allow me to post the entire message. Something about an error.
I showed them a photo of a juvenile Golden Eagle seen last year on I-75 and their response was "That's it. I thought that's what it was but it would be out of range." This person is not a serious birder but they are a biologist and somewhat into birds.
The sighting occurred in the area of 221 St. and 147 Ave. Anyone out west needs to keep a watch on the sky above. Golden Eagles have been reliably seen down here almost each winter for several years now.
