Hey everyone,

I took a trip up to Gatorland in Kissimmee on Saturday. The rookery is in full swing. Loads of baby Great Egrets within a few feet of the boardwalk. Snowy Egrets are barking and displaying, getting ready to nest as well. A pair of Roseate Spoonbills look like they have a nest as well. Wood Storks are nesting, too. Loads of Cormorant nests are there as well. Anhingas are courting, and should be nesting soon too. Tricolored Herons are displaying, too. It's an amazing place to visit this time of year. Near the alligator enclosures, a pair of Limpkins are nesting, as well as a pair of Green Herons.

The swamp boardwalk there had some nice surprises too. I had several gorgeous male Northern Parulas singing their hearts away. We had up to 7 or 9 Swallow-tailed Kites fly overhead as well.

Happy Birding!
