Around 3:30 this afternoon, while driving East on Southern Boulevard (SR80)west of West Palm Beach, I spotted a Flamingo flying with SFWMD's STA-1E impoundment area near its Northeast corner at Southern Boulevard and Flying Cow Road. It was flying on the back side of the impoundment dike as I looked South from the Road. I do not know if there is any public access in this area of STA-1E. The public parking lot is on the West side of the big pumps. I viewed some aerials and there is an access road off of Flying Cow Road but I believe it is for South Florida WMD vehicles and is problably gated. Unfortunately, I could not stop although I will try to head back out over weekend to see. Kieran
