The yellow Palm Warblers (Eastern subspecies) are also found in Florida, and seem more common in central Florida. The dull colored ones in south FLorida are the Western subspecies. Am I correct that they don't mix here because they only breed when they go back north? I took this photo at Three Lakes a few days ago. Please disregard the notes; is this a yellow subspecies or not, or do they intermix sometimes? They belly is too white, it seems, to be yellow ssp, but otherwise I would say that it is.
thanks,
tom
