Hey All,

I've recently been following the TAS sightings again for our annual SoFla birding trip in mid April. Any recent word on solid sightings of Mangrove Cuckoo, White crowned P's and Black Whiskered Vireos in Dangy, Smooth Billed Anis at the 800 location/ENP/LOX, Greater Flamingos at snake bite/SFWMD canals, Snail Kites at Lox impoundments or close by, White Tailed Kites near ENP or Kiss Praire and Whooping Cranes near Joe's Overstreet Landing (3 lakes WMA)??? Any input on Spot-breated Orioles and Bubuls near Kendall Hospital or close by? Last year we saw all target species and then some so hopefully we can slam it again in 2010. We're focusing on the SoFla coast/keys so no Sanibel fallouts this go around. I'm bringing a bud who is new to the Sofla birding experience so it'd be great to put him on some great views. I noticed the Lasagras and Ani posting as well, any recent confirms for either this week? It would be nice if the Ani's were re-establishing old turf. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks again and see ya on the trails.
