Lots of good variety lately at Green Cay. From Thursday March 11 until Sunday March 14 I had the following birds of interest (high count numbers given):
2 Egyptian Geese
4 Northern Shoveler (males)
1 Roseate Spoonbill
24 Least Sandpipers
3 Lesser Yellowlegs
2 Wilson's Snipe
2 Royal Tern (feeding)
24 Northern Rough-winged Swallow
12 Tree Swallow
30 Purple Martin
1 Spotted Sandpiper
12 Black-necked Stilt
Plus the usual waders, woodpeckers, Palms, Pine, and Yellow-rumped Warblers, etc.
