after the lake kissimmee outing i headed to merritt and viera----merritt was very active---the usual plus spoonies-reddish egrets-white pelicans-limpkins-willets-blue winged teals-at viera the winds were gale force which made it difficult to walk-much less enjoy yourself----but the standout view was a female sandhill sitting on her eggs and turning them over---very close to the road and within walking distance----walking only on sun. because everything was so wet---great photo opportunity--was also half doz. limpkins and a young caracara-----arnie-
