This morning while doing a spot sighting for PBOT, I was finally able to verify that we have two clay colored sparrows coming to our feeders.Eagle Eye had asked about a month ago if there was more than one Clay in the yard but I had only ever seen one.Yesterday while doing a count, I noticed and photographed what I thought were two different birds that arrived at different times to feed.
And just a minute ago, BOTH birds showed up and even briefly perched on the same feeder!
The Buntings are still in numbers and the Indigos are turning blue and a few are singing. I've heard but not yet seen a PaBu singing.
