Tis a Red-shouldered Hawk... but it fooled several people, I won't mention who.
It just didn't look like a Red Shouldered to me. Looked to lean and I guess I haven't seen many Juveniles in this plumage.
Once I was corrected, I asked a few experts what let them know it was a Red-shouldered. Bill Pranty gave me a pretty good lesson on the ID of Juvenile Red-shouldered, Coopers and Sharpy. Hopefully I won't make the mistake again.
