I really meant lion. I can't think of any other animal that would sound like that. Also, I saw a camel years ago in the front yard of a house I visited for a party. When I asked what it was doing there, I was told it was one of the owner's pets. He had other animals at his farm. To his credit, it was a Dromedary, not a Bactrian.
