Sometimes you have to grab the camera quickly. It happened to me today. I stopped on the road to Hidden Lake shortly before the Hidden Lake end of the hammock. I noticed a very pale Myiarchus flycatcher fly into the trees above me.
I didn't have time to look at the bird other than to make sure the camera was pointed at it and that the autofocus had done its work. I only got two shots before the flycatcher moved back into a denser area (visible, but with decent photos impossible). While I was looking at the La Sagra's, I also noticed it's BT Green friend nearby. The La Sagra's briefly came to the front again after a couple of minutes, but did not stay still. It soon moved away from the road.
Oddly, the yellow wash on the lower underparts was not obvious through binoculars, but it was obvious to the camera.
