Buntings

It must be the crazy weather this year! I've had 16-18 Painted Buntings at my 2 feeders at the same time! What a sight!! Also observed, feeding with the Painted Buntings were 2 Indigo Buntings. Most of the Painted buntings are females or juvies. I've observed 5 males at one time, so I know I have at least that many around. I think the Indigo Buntings are first year males as they have large amounts of blue coloring overlaying brown.
