3 P Buntings in one day

Had THREE painted buntings all day today at my feeders. BUT , they were all female! Seems like the females travel togeher?
If anyone has too many males, could you send one over?
The Downy woodpecker continues to eat well at the suet feeders along with his red-bellied cousins.
Can migration be around the corner?
