In Weston there is a mitigation site of over 2000 acres, residents are no longer allowed in the area.
At one time it was one of the best biding sites in the area. Ed Rosenberg and I once counted over 50 species in the area in a little over one hour.
When I sneak into the area now there are hardly any birds, The area looks like an abandoned empty lot with some trash around it.
For 8 years I have been talking to the commission to do something with that land.
