I decided to scout out a few places to see what was around for the TAS Everglades Nature Photography Walk this weekend. I had opportunity to take my oldest son with me and we had a great time looking around Royal Palm and Research Road area.

We got a bit of a late start and I had meetings later in the morning so we only spent a 3 hours in the park. It was cloudy early so we just did some bird watching till the sun came out. We found more than a hundred American Robins along Research Rd. along with many Blue Birds, Nuthatches and Pine Warblers.

I was pleased to find plenty of subjects for photography. The park is still really wet so I did no off trail exploration. I'm hoping for good weather and clear to partly cloudy skies this weekend.
