: Archbishop Carroll High School located in W. Kendall at SW
: 167th Ave. and 104th St.

: This seems to be the first summer record of N. Pintail for Dade county.

: Today was the first really good look at the bird.

I was at this High School area today, and did see the N Pintail along with two Mottleds. Also at this micro-marsh were 4 Black-necked Stilts, Killdeers and the three Cowbirds: a male BH and a male and a (very talkative) female Shiny, and an Eastern Meadowlark. comment on Nighthawks: in my neighborhood, Doral, there are numerous Nighthawks: between Doral Isles and the Turnpike is a flat area devoid of vegetation, where 15-20 Common Nighthawks are fooling around in the air. A Chuck-Willīs Widow is still intensively calling just north of this spot (end of NW 114th Ave).
PS. Great flocks of White Ibis travel each morning from the basin SW of the intersection Turnpike-NW 41st St to NE (donīt know exactly where) at about 6:30am, and return at 7:15pm. My countings indicate they are about 1,450 each time (all of them flying by in 5 minutes!).
