When it is due to its captivity it is a perfectly logical conclusion. Once again as others have noted, it is not that its feeding behavior discounts its countability, but that its feeding behavior is a result of its captivity. If the booby had been coming to the center for hand outs before its rehab, we would not be having this discussion. This is not a starling, a pigeon, a pelican, a laughing gull or even a black vulture we are talking about here. This booby learned to come to the rehab center as a DIRECT result of its captivity there and is still under that influence.
