While looking for the Grassquit this morning, Larry Manfredi spotted an Olive-sided Flycatcher "flycatching" from some pines along the west side of the LPK road. The bird was seen, then scoped, for several minutes of good looks at about 9:20am. The bird dissapeared as soon as the rain started and hasn't been seen since despite the several pairs of persistent eyes. Larry has inserted two "sticks" into the ground at the approximate location of the most recent viewing. It is reasonable to think the bird would resume feeding once the rain stops....but will the rain ever stop??????

No, I did not see the bird...ugh.

cheers

David
