Who ever said that birding in the rain is no good was proven wrong this morning at Fern Forest Park in Broward County.
In particular on the north side of the parking lot, there were scores of Redstarts, BT Blues, Prairies and Ovenbirds (and I mean 10+ each). More notable yet were 2 WORM-EATING WARBLERS, 1 FEMALE HOODED WARBLER and 1 CAPE MAY WARBLER.
Fern Forest is located at the SW corner of Atlantic & Lyons Rd. Unfortunately, it opens at 8am and also closes early at 6pm.
