Finally, lots of action at Barnes today, especially in the front picnic area. Eleven warbler species included Tennessee, Blackburnian M&F, Northern Waterthrush and Worm-eating. Vireos were Yellow-throated and Red-eyed. Also seen were Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Swainson's Thrush, Veery, Eastern Kingbird, Brown Thrasher, Spot-breasted Oriole, Short-tailed Hawk and Kestrel. Downy Woodpecker and a tanager species were heard only.
