There are many reasons why this bird is a Pine Warbler and not a Blue-winged Warbler. One major difference: the yellow on a Blue-winged Warbler's underside is typically much brighter and cleaner and extends past the legs, where it contrasts with the white undertail coverts.
The Peterson Field Guide to the Warblers of North America (by Jon Dunn and Kimball Garrett) is an excellent resource for warbler ID questions and should be in every birder's library.
