Sorry for the late post but our computer has been down. On Saturday we got a call from Carl Edwards that the Black-throated Gray Warbler reported on 01/16 but was first seen on 01/11 was still at Green Cay. We decided to go give it a try and were not disappointed as we heard the bird several times and then finally saw the bird. The warbler was seen in the Oak trees that are in the median as you drive pass the entrance gates.
Other highlights at Green Cay were:
Sora Rail (3!)
Limpkin
BB Whistling Duck (28)
Fulvous Whistling Duck (1)
Cedar Waxwing
Pine Warbler (awesome males)
Purple Martin
Nature is Awesome
