follow-up on banded Piping Plover

During the Virginia Key segment of the Miami CBC on 12/19/09, Trey Mitchell photographed a banded Piping Plover (see below). The bander contacted me yesterday with information on the bird. It was one of only 5 birds banded at Chincoteague NWR in spring 2007. It returned to nest there in 2008 but it's not known if it returned in 2009.
