This morning the La Sagra's Flycatcher was seen again between 7:30am and 8:30am, at its usual location on and near the powerlines just east of the white gate. (The gate is at the intersection of the Pond Trail nature trail and a dirt service road that some call the "bathroom road".) The bird seems to favor the spot between the first and second power poles east of the gate. It was occasionally being chased by a male Cardinal which seems to be setting up a territory in the area, and, in turn, the flycatcher was occasionally chasing a Great Crested Flycatcher.
