Hi...
I'm a friend of Wendy Fox at Pelican Harbor. I've known her for about 3 years. She does a fantastic job on taking care of our sick and injured birds. She asked me to post this. I hope it's ok.

While we love talking to people about birds, the fact is that the attention the Red Footed Booby has received has become a little over whelming. We understand the excitement and we consider ourselves very lucky to be able to work with so many species of migratory birds, it is a privilege. All we are asking is that people are respectful of the rehabilitating birds, our staff and volunteers and the marina.
We hope the birder who removed the photographs from our wall this weekend enjoys them. We did.
We do not exhibit rehabilitating birds as per our Federal permit.
Please observe our office hours - 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. we are a working facility and are closed at certain times so that we may provide uninterrupted care to our patients. Banging on our doors and windows is not acceptable.
We are very busy at this time of year and if we do not have time to talk to you please respect that. Being abuse to our staff and volunteers is not OK.
Please do not walk on the docks. We lease our property from the county and the dock areas are for boat owners only
