Click the link below to see a fine-looking Peninsula Ribbon Snake trying to warm up this morning on the Old Ingraham Highway near Gate 15 in ENP. This one wasn't very active because of the 40 deg F temperature, and also because it had recently eaten a large something that bulged in its belly. I ran across another that was very active and moved quickly, but this one just gaped to let me know it wasn't putting up with any nonsense.
