I'm planning a much anticipated and long-awaited first birding visit to the Everglades and south Florida for Jan 26 through Feb 4. Although I do have the "Birder's Guide to Florida," I have the 1996 edition, and I hear the 2010 update is due in January. Does anyone know if this will be "on the shelf" by the time of our visit? I am concerned about the accuracy of the info I have that is 10+ years out of date. Since I know practically nothing about birding in that area, I expect to rely on it heavily.
Thanks for any information you can offer, and for the Birding area of the TAS website, which has offered a lot of valuable birding advice!
