I looked for the Black-faced Grassquit for about 2-hours on Monday morning and again for about an hour in the afternoon without luck. I thought that since Paul Bithorn was nowhere to been seen that we would surely have luck but this was not the case!

However a boat trip out to Snake Bight channel produced 38 Greater Flamingos! This first group was seen between Christian Point and Snake Bight trail; I looked in the direction of Snake Bight trail and added another 9 Flamingos for a total of 47 birds!

Eco Pond had 3 Gull-billed Terns and an American Coot. The parking area around the marina produced 4 Short-tailed Hawks; two light morphs and 2 dark morphs as well as one Swallow-tailed Kite.
