For documentation, these SOOC "straight out of the camera" cropped images show the reddish cast to the tail of the Short-tailed Hawk. Not sure whether this represents actual pigmentation or diffraction. I suspect the latter, as the literature does not refer to reddish tail in this species. Has anyone else noticed this, or is this bird different?
